First of all, Winston takes several weeks to return emails and phone calls! One time he took almost a month to get back to me! Most times when you call his office his voicemail box is full, and you can't even leave a message, not like he would return the message if you left one anyway. This guy had me do all the work of compiling the data for my taxes and then he took eight months to enter the information into his computer program, it should have been a couple days work, at best. There were errors on top of that, he blamed someone else who supposedly was doing his work for him, I guess he was sub-contracting his clients work out. So basically a non-licensed temp had access to all my personal information and was working on my taxes, when I was supposed to be paying him! He gave me a nasty attitude when I brought all of this to his attention, like he was entitled to not return my calls for weeks on end and take forever to finish the work he was charging me hundreds of dollars to complete, he did nothing but make my life miserable and make excuses! He knew how desperately bad I needed this tax work done in a timely fashion, and totally took advantage of my situation, very selfish and unprofessional! This was the most ridiculously bad and frustrating experience of my life, I have no idea how this guy is still in business!! Stay away if you know what's good for you! By the way, I’m only 28 and my doctor told me that this situation was causing me to have stress related health issues and high blood pressure.

I have never had a personal tax return take this long...it's been over 30 days since my initial visit and submission of my documents. The follow-up on the owner's behalf has been horrible, I feel like I've been hounding him to find out the status of my tax return and I've been given excuse after excuse. Long story short..I am STILL waiting for the final review of my tax return and at this point it is killing me to even pay this company. I would not recommend him to anyone...

Winparje made an error on our 2009 tax return. The error was not in our favor and we owed the IRS $1,000. We found out about this error in August 2011. We went to Winparje to have them check into the error with the IRS. To make a long story short, it is now the end of February 2012. We had sent a check the end of September 2011 to the IRS. Due to Winparje contacting a local IRS office instead of the IRS office that the notification came from in Kansas City, MO, our $1,000 check has been cashed and our account has NOT been credited. We have been trying to solve this problem with the IRS. My husband has been on the phone with them many times the past few months. We have sent copies of our cashed check and still our account has not been credited. We will never go to Winparje to do our taxes again. It has been a nightmare!!
